A word game that spells like a Canadian
Canadian English borrows from both sides of the Atlantic, and most word games get it wrong one way or the other. This page uses SCOWL's Canadian English list: colour, favour, centre, theatre and cheque follow British spelling, while realize, organize, analyze and yogurt follow American. There are 2,037 five-letter answers on the Canadian list.
Guesses are generous: American and British spellings are both accepted, so you never lose a turn over a U or a Z. Only the answers follow Canadian spelling.

The new word lands at midnight there, at 1 a.m. in Halifax and at 9 p.m. the evening before in Vancouver. Daily words use spellings shared by every country, so everyone plays the same word. Frequently asked questions
Why not just use the UK or the US list?
Because Canadian spelling mixes both. With the UK list, realize would never be an answer; with the US list, colour would never be one.
Are American spellings accepted as guesses?
Yes, and British ones too. Only the answers follow Canadian spelling.
